Tom Schickel Piano

The Story

Singer songwriter Tom Schickel is proud to present his debut album Living On to the world.  Ever since the was a young child, Tom has been involved with performing.  At 8 years old, he performed for the first time with the Loveland Stage Company  in the summer of production of Godspell Jr.  (which is parents forced him to addution for).  His parents have always encouraged him to play an instrument, starting with the drums at age 6, which he hated.  Only a few years ago after coming home from New York City where he saw Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera, he sat he sat down at the previously untouched piano and began to pick out the theme song to phantom.

Upon hearing this, his father had him singed up for lessons with in 24 hours.  He started lessons with the piano teacher previously known only has the lady who taught kinds in the dark closet of the school.  His first assignemt was to leann “Oh, When the Saints Come Marching In,” but to her suprise, when he came in fro his second lesson, he has prepared one of his all time favorites, Billy Joel’s “Piano Man”.

Since then, Tom has a grown to love music, acting and performing.  The most common question asked is, “How Long have you been playing the Piano?”  His favorite response is to say, “Two years… straight.”

In Search Of Band!!!

Tom Schickel Would like to announce that he is in search of a band. He will one day be in need of many instrumentalists. He is looking mainly for people around his own age (15-17). Please E-mail tomschickelmusic@yahoo.com if you are interested stating your name, age, instrument, and anything else you would like for him to know. He is unsure of when the band will begin practicing or performing but he will create a list and eventually get back to those of you who are interested.
